Having a 360° product view enables to fight the data silos, that are built through the time, in companies and that are materialized by multiple databases and excel files built by BU, by customer, by product range, year…. (and managing their multiple versions is more that a nightmare…). Having this 360° view transform data in a secured information, trustable and shared by all stakeholders of the product information chain; on top of that, this information will be valid and available for consumption by any data consumer. It enables also to be compliant about product information (EU1169, EU1223, GDUDID, …).

This 360 vision covers Master Data Management, transactional data (related to sales or other domain) and data generated by interaction of the product with its environment, customers and consumers (IoT, social networks…)
